I have always enjoyed working with language. Even though I am a Czech native, I was encouraged by my parents to use English as much as possible. I got my freelance license when I was 18 and continued in this line of work until I got my job as an English teacher.
I have an extensive background in literary theory, the Czech and English languages as well as teaching theories and methodology of education.
I can also support localization projects with my knowledge of software and game design.
Though my notable translation experience comes from the video games and books industries, I can offer previous experience with the translation of subtitles, manuals, and marketing materials from annual reports or websites.

Rates
The rates do change based on the project size and additional work.
A short story requires less preparation but is does not offer the longevity of income as a series of books.
A 5-hour narrative game with multiple storylines requires different preparation than an online multiplayer shooter
with only menus and tutorials.
That is why offer different rates for different projects and why I also let You name Your budget if you offer a larger project.
